The drive from Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB) to Mirissa is roughly 200 km. Taking the Outer Circular Highway onto the Southern Expressway keeps it at around two hours fifty minutes — far quicker and far calmer than the old Galle Road.

Between 2 hours 45 minutes and 3 hours 15 minutes using the Southern Expressway (E01) and the Outer Circular Highway, depending on traffic around Colombo. For a departing flight we recommend leaving Mirissa or Weligama five hours before take-off, which covers check-in and any expressway delays comfortably.
Yes, and there is no charge for it. Your driver waits at the arrivals exit holding a board with your name. We ask for your flight number when you book so we can track your landing time — if you are early or delayed, the driver adjusts and you pay nothing extra for waiting.
We run 24 hours a day, every day of the year. Midnight and pre-dawn airport departures from Mirissa, Weligama, Midigama and Ahangama are our most common bookings, and there is no night surcharge.
No deposit for standard airport transfers. Pay the driver in cash at the end of the journey in Sri Lankan rupees, US dollars, euros or pounds. For multi-day tours we can arrange a bank transfer or card payment in advance if you prefer.
A Toyota Axio or Prius comfortably takes two large suitcases plus hand luggage for three passengers. The Honda Fit Shuttle takes three large bags for up to four passengers.
